You start recording — via the mobile app, from your computer, or by inviting Geremy into your Teams, Meet, or Zoom meeting as a participant — then carry on as normal, and at the end Geremy transcribes and automatically generates a structured report: decisions, action items, key points. Expect roughly 10% of the meeting duration: a one-hour meeting yields a report in 6 to 10 minutes.

Why use Geremy instead of taking notes manually?

Writing up minutes by hand takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours per hour of meeting. Geremy completes this time-consuming task in just a few minutes, with more complete and accurate results — and you stay fully focused on the discussion instead of having your head in your notes.

Which devices does it work on? Is there anything to install?

There's a mobile app (iOS and Android), ideal for recording in person — just set the phone on the table and forget about it — and a web version (web.geremy.ai) that does everything: recording, audio file import (up to 4 hours or 400 MB), video call joining, viewing, editing, PDF / Word export, and custom templates. Participants don't need to install anything.

Can I record a video call or a hybrid meeting?

Yes. Geremy joins your Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom meeting as a participant and captures the audio (the host simply approves its entry). For hybrid meetings — some participants in the room, others remote — the web version offers a 'Microphone + another tab' mode that captures both in-room voices and those from the video call.

Can I schedule a recurring meeting in Geremy?

No, each meeting is created individually. Tips: duplicate an existing meeting from your list on web.geremy.ai — Geremy copies the title, template, participants, tags and language. You can also add Geremy as a participant to your recurring meetings in your calendar (Meet, Teams, Zoom) and paste the video link at each occurrence. Remember to fill in your profile and regular colleagues so you don't have to do it again.

Which languages does Geremy support?

Nearly 100 languages. Geremy transcribes and writes the report in virtually every language spoken in meetings — English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and many more. There's no need to configure the language in advance.

More than 54 ready-to-use formats that automatically adapt the structure to your context: team meeting, executive summary, decision record, one-on-one, AGM minutes, board minutes, municipal council minutes, conference, training session, medical or psychological consultation, project debrief, sales follow-up, lecture notes, civil protection briefing… With Premium and Team plans, you can also define your own custom templates: provide your PDF layout and Geremy fills it in automatically for every meeting.

How does Geremy know who said what?

Through a quick round of introductions at the start of the meeting ('Hi, I'm Marie, Project Manager.') and the names you add to your profile for your regular contacts. If someone is still listed as 'Participant 1', you can correct names in a few clicks when regenerating the report, and the minutes are updated instantly.

What if the report contains an error or typo?

The report is never set in stone: you can edit the text directly in the interface (the PDF and Word files update automatically), or regenerate it by correcting context details — title, agenda, speaker names, attachments. Pro tip: adding an agenda with important proper nouns (locations, organisations, industry-specific terms) before the meeting significantly improves spelling in the output.

Can I use my own report templates?

Yes — that's the custom templates feature, available with Premium and Team plans. Upload your own document structure in PDF format at web.geremy.ai/templates, and Geremy automatically fills it in with the content of your meetings — sections, tables, and headers reproduced exactly. This is ideal for any format that repeats from one meeting to the next: site visit report, sales insight sheet, consultation record, sprint debrief, school board minutes…

Can I get multiple report formats from the same meeting?

Yes, with Premium and Team plans. The additional reports feature lets you generate up to 5 different outputs from a single recording — all existing side by side without overwriting each other. For example: an Executive Summary for leadership, a Verbatim transcript for the archives, and a document based on your custom template for operational follow-up. With the Standard plan, you have one regeneration per report (remember to download the PDF before regenerating if you want to keep a copy).

Can I dictate notes or memos to Geremy outside of meetings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. There are dedicated categories ('Note-taking', 'Extended reflection', 'Essential reflection', 'Mindmap'…): speak out loud and Geremy structures and organises your ideas, memos, or thoughts so you can find and use them later. As long as there's audio, Geremy can process it.

Is there a maximum recording length?

Up to 4 hours per session (within your monthly hour quota). As you approach the limit, recording stops automatically and the captured audio is processed. For longer meetings, start a second recording after a break — you'll get two reports, which are often more readable than one very long document.

Is my data secure? Is Geremy GDPR compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your data is hosted in Europe only — no transfers outside the EU — on infrastructure certified ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and HDS (French health-data hosting certification). AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, fully automated processing with no human access. Geremy acts as a data processor under the GDPR; a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and a Security White Paper are available on request at rgpd@geremy.ai.

Is my data used to train the AI?

Accepted Answer

Never — this is a contractual guarantee, not a hollow promise. Permanent opt-out with all our AI partners. Each meeting is processed in complete isolation: Geremy has no 'memory' from one meeting to the next, and nothing is cross-referenced between users.

What happens to the audio recording after processing?

Accepted Answer

It is immediately and permanently deleted as soon as the report is generated — not archived 'just in case', not set aside. Voice is sensitive biometric data under the GDPR: we do not retain it a second longer than necessary. What remains on our servers is solely your report — which you can view, edit, export, and delete.

Do I need to inform participants that the meeting is being recorded?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this is a legal obligation in most European countries, whether in person or on a video call. A few words at the start of the meeting are all it takes: let everyone know the meeting is being recorded, that the audio is used solely to generate the minutes and will be deleted after processing, and give each person the opportunity to decline.

How much does it cost? Is there a commitment?

Three plans, all with no commitment and cancellable at any time: Standard (from €14 excl. VAT/month on an annual plan, 20 hours of meetings per month), Premium (from €32 excl. VAT/month on an annual plan, 50 hours + custom templates + up to 5 reports per meeting + automated task management), and Team (from €19 excl. VAT/month/user on an annual plan, from 3 users, 30 hours/month per member with a shared hour pool). The annual plan is cheaper than monthly, and you can switch plans whenever you like from web.geremy.ai/subscription.

How does the free trial work?

When you create your account, you get a free one-month trial — no credit card, no commitment — with everything unlocked: all report categories, custom templates, additional reports, PDF and Word export, up to 10 hours of recording (enough to test across around ten meetings). There's no automatic charge at the end of the trial — it's up to you to subscribe if you want to continue. Activate your trial when you actually have meetings to record: the one-month countdown starts immediately and cannot be paused.

Is Geremy suitable for public-sector bodies, healthcare organisations, schools…?

Yes. Payment is possible by bank transfer or through public-sector entities in France and similar bodies in Europe, with invoicing via Chorus Pro, and no specific procurement framework or special accreditation required — it's a standard service purchase. Many town halls, departmental councils, hospitals, education authorities, and schools already use Geremy, with dedicated formats (municipal council minutes, public institution board minutes, medical staff meetings, social care summaries, lecture notes, student follow-up…). The infrastructure is HDS certified (French health-data hosting certification), the most stringent standard in France for health data.

How do I share and export my reports?

Export to PDF and Word, one-tap sharing from the mobile app (email, messaging, Slack, Drive…), or automatic email delivery as soon as a report is ready — with the PDF or Word file directly attached. You can also edit the report text directly in the interface, and the PDF updates automatically.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

You retain full access to the service until the end of your current paid period. After that, your account switches to read-only mode: your existing reports remain accessible online for 2 years, but you won't be able to generate new reports or export to PDF or Word. When that period expires, you'll receive an email 30 days before your data is permanently deleted. You can resubscribe at any time to reactivate all features — right where you left off.
